yogurt with granola and a strawberry on top

For many Americans, a normal breakfast consists of grabbing a thermos of coffee while running out the door for work.

If you’re not a breakfast eater and feel as though you only need your morning cup of Joe to make it through the day, this routine might seem very familiar to you.

“What’s so wrong with that routine?” you may ask. After all, you’ve been doing it for years, and it doesn’t seem to have negatively impacted your health or lifestyle.

Well, for starters, skipping out on breakfast deprives your body from necessary energy-producing nutrients.

In tandem with low-energy levels, not eating breakfast also prevents your body from restoring glucose, an essential carbohydrate that is needed for the brain to function.

To top it all off, the National Health Service Organization claims that “Eating a healthy breakfast has long-term health benefits which include preventing obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes.”

You get the point–breakfast is a very important meal.

For that reason, I’ve decided to give 3 easy and delicious no-brainer breakfast ideas in order to help you start incorporating breakfast into your daily routine.
