OUR PRACTITIONERS
All of our practitioners have extensive training in preventative medicine. We firmly believe in the more than 500 year-old saying "prevention is better than cure".
Dr. Michael Smith
Michael T. Smith, N.D. is a Naturopathic Physician who specializes in classical
homeopathy and clinical nutrition. He received his Doctorate of Naturopathic
Medicine from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona.
He was selected for a family practice residency position at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical
Center in Scottsdale, AZ. There he received advanced training in homeopathy and
clinical nutrition.
Dr. Smith is an expert in homeopathy, using it to treat most chronic and acute
conditions. "Homeopathy works at a much deeper level to stimulate the body's innate
ability to heal. Homeopathy is by far one of the most effective and safest forms of
medicine."
Dr. Smith also has extensive experience using nutrition to treat various conditions, most
notably diabetes. "Through using nutrition and lifestyle modifications I have been able
to help people normalize their blood sugars and prevent complications from diabetes.
There is no reason that anyone should suffer complications from this disease - they are
completely preventable."
Dr. Smith takes a very individualized approach to your health. "I take the time to
understand you as a person."

Dr. Scott is committed to helping people achieve optimal health through clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, and lifestyle counseling as appropriate. "I am dedicated to being a partner in healthcare with the people I work with, and supporting the body's inherent ability to heal using natural therapies."
She is passionate about the benefits of natural weight loss. “Many of the individuals that come to see me have tried numerous different weight loss plans, and they either didn’t work or only worked temporarily. A whole foods approach can be immensely effective and improve your health long-term.”

She also enjoys educating people on environmental toxins and guiding them through a comprehensive cleanse program. “I encourage people to strive towards optimal health, and naturopathic doctors are wonderful resources in this area.”

Dr. Michelle Dillon
Michelle M. Dillon, N.D. is a Naturopathic Physician who is an expert in in Classical Homeopathy and applied kinesiology. She is a native of Florida and is an alumnus of Florida State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy and Exercise Science. After graduating from F.S.U, she went on to receive her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the nationally accredited Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona.
Treating Christian women with concerns ranging from anxiety and mild depression, to polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, and menopausal symptoms are a passion of Dr. Dillon’s. She loves to connect with people and meet them where they are to help them feel better, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. “I treat the whole person, not just their symptoms. God created us all as individuals, so each of us should be treated as individuals when we aren’t feeling well.” Dr. Dillon also loves to treat children who suffer from allergies to A.D.D as well. “Homeopathy is a wonderful tool in treating anyone because it is so gentle, yet so effective!”
Dr. Dillon spent the majority of her clinical training specializing in Classical Homeopathy. Classical Homeopathy, when well practiced, is the most gentle but yet the most powerful medicine there is, working by stimulating the body to heal itself. Classical Homeopathy is effective because it is actually stimulating the body to heal itself. It is safe for everyone including infants, the elderly and even women who are pregnant or nursing. “If you want something that is gentle, effective, and treats the whole person, then Homeopathy is for you.”
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a wonderful modality because it gives the physician the ability to determine what may be askew in the body. The combined terms “applied” and “kinesiology” describes the basis of this system, which is the use of manual muscle testing to evaluate body function through the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system. ‘The physician’s highest and only calling is to restore the sick to health’ and that is what I intend to do.”

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my Bio. My interest in mind-body medicine began 15 years ago when I was diagnosed with a potentially crippling medical condition called Multiple Sclerosis. At the time my medical doctor advised that I simply "Wait and see what happens." "That's easy for him to say," I thought.
The unpredictability of the MS really scared me. Some mornings I would wake up and I could not see or walk. I felt like I had no control over my own body. Then one day I decided to take my health into my own hands. I began reading about and practicing mind-body interventions. These are healing modalities which believe that the mind--one's thoughts, beliefs and attitudes--exerts a profound impact upon the integrity of one's immune system.
Today, after many years of learning, research and prayer I am happy to report that I am totally symptom-free. I did not allow MS to stop me from studying six languages, earning three Masters, a Doctorate in "Theology, Ethics and Culture" or from starting two successful businesses. I firmly believe that there is nothing that cannot be accomplished if you set your mind to it.
In my office, I seek to share what I have learned. Combining time-tested Biblical truths and modern, cutting edge technologies, I teach my clients how to use their powerful minds to lose weight, quit cigarettes, reduce stress or improve sports performance.
I've helped hundreds of people--people just like you--to make positive changes in their lives. I invite you to call 704-708-4404 to schedule a FREE, no risk, screening. Let's determine if my programs are right for you. If it they are, we will discuss your goals and design a program uniquely tailored to your needs and budget.

Belinda Haverdill, MA, LPC
Belinda Haverdill is a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years in practice. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling, it is Belinda’s experience and approach to counseling and guidance that sets her apart in the field. Belinda’s goal is to help her clients “Unlock the Past … Embrace the Present … Hope for the Future … and Discover Well Being.” She accomplishes this through a focus on helping individuals look inside themselves to know themselves better through an understanding of the influences and experiences that make them who they are and why they are handling situations in a certain way.
Belinda believes in a holistic approach to working with clients, and does not believe in belaboring or examining the past through a microscope. Instead, the focus is on helping individuals unlock and become freed from frustration, pain or a past trauma in order to better understand personal reactions to situations, cope with a challenging situation or work through a life transition. Belinda’s unique approach encompasses the art of healing physically, mentally and emotionally. By looking at each aspect, a person can better know themselves … why they act the way they do, think the way they do, and feel the way they do. By looking at the physical, mental and emotional reactions, Belinda works toward achieving a deep shift in thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. The end result is greater understanding, confidence and independence to move forward and beyond what might be holding a person back from the life they ultimately desire.
Belinda embraces all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds and creates an environment of mutual exchange of dialog to immediately put clients at ease. Being able to relate and connect is at the heart of Belinda’s counseling, because it is through a sense of connection that values and concerns can be validated and explored … and beliefs that no longer serve an individual can be released with a renewed sense of being, belonging, and contributing.
Belinda has as many men as women who have sought her guidance and can help on a variety of levels including individuals feeling depressed or anxious, seeking personal growth, or going through a transition to couples seeking to reconcile or strengthen their relationship through better understanding of one another. Her desire is to be a catalyst for helping everyone she counsels create a better, more fulfilled and enriched life.
A member of the American Counseling Association and Internal Family Systems Association, she is also a Neuromuscular Integrative Action (NIA) White Belt Instructor. She has written and published numerous articles on wellness, self-discovery, relationships, coping, trauma, and listening to your inner voice.
