Comprehensive Health Consultation - New Patient
This initial appointments focuses on treating you the person and not just treating symptoms. Our doctors take the time to listen and understand your specific health concerns. During this appointment your doctor will address all aspects of your health. Your appointment may include a homeopathic remedy prescription, review of diet, supplements, recent labs, discussion of recommendations, an immediate course of action, and a long-term plan for your health. These appointments may last from 1 1/2 hrs for a child to 2 1/2 hrs for an adult.

Keeping Yourself Optimal - Wellness Consultation
A wellness consultation is for people who are well and wish to optimize their wellness. During these consultations your physician will review your diet, supplements, and recent labs to ensure you are doing what is necessary to be living with vitality. This appointment is not intended to address a specific health concern or disease. A wellness consult take approximately one hour. Any follow-up appointments would be scheduled as needed or recommended by your physician.

Not Feeling Well - Acute Consultation
These are designed to help you recover quickly from an acute illness (ie. cold, flu, insect bite, poison ivy, etc.) For chronic health concerns please refer to the comprehensive new patient appointment. During this appointment your doctor will focus on your acute illness and create a customized plan to quickly remedy your health. This may often include a homeopathic remedy, nutritional supplements or herbal medicines, diet and hydrotherapy recommendations. Your appointment includes one week of phone support. Additional appointments and follow-up would be determined by your doctor and incur additional investment.

FOLLOW-UP CONSULTATIONS
The majority of our follow-up consultations are billed at the Standard follow-up rate and typically take 20-30 minutes. Some follow-up appointments may be more complex if there are new issues to address or the patient hasn't been seen in an extended period, or the doctor is re-evaluating the patient's case. These may be billed as an Extended or a Comprehensive consultation. A Brief consultation is typically for checking in on a single health issue (blood pressure, weight loss) and are not a regular follow-up consultation. The type of follow-up consultation needed is determined by your physician and may not always be known until during your appointment.

Phone consultations are billed the same as in-office consultations.
Phone check-ins
Often after your initial new patient consultation and as needed, your doctor may request you call-in for a phone check, these are short 5-10 minute scheduled phone calls to ensure you are doing well with the recommendations given and to address any questions or concerns. A change to or new recommendations may incur a follow-up consultation charge.
Prepaid Follow-up Consultations
We offer prepaid follow-up consultations of 5 visits for the price of 4, this is a 20% savings on your wellness care. These consultations can be shared among family members that are already established patients.
Your investment: $440 for (5) Standard follow-up consultations.
Scheduling
To schedule an appointment, please call 704-708-4404. Office visits are by appointment only. We make every attempt to be on time. Your cooperation by showing up on time for your appointments will help us and is greatly appreciated.
Cancellation
policy:
We do have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Late cancellations will be billed at the following rates: $100 for a
new patient visit and $50 for a follow-up visit. Missed appointments
will be billed in full. We understand that emergencies occur and are
willing to make exceptions for true emergencies.

Insurance:
Health insurance plans may not cover naturopathic care in North Carolina. We do not file insurance and do not deal directly with insurance companies. We would encourage you to contact your insurance company regarding reimbursement of services. Payment is required for all services at the time of your visit.
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
These special savings accounts can often be used to cover our services and specific nutritional supplements. Please check with your plan administrator regarding your coverage. We will be happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to assist with your use of these plans. Payment is expected at time of service and you may be able to file for reimbursement, but check with your plan administrator.
Testing
We offer a wide range of laboratory testing and specialized tests that can assist your physician in determining what is the most appropriate course of action. Not all patients may be recommended testing. There are additional costs associated with laboratory tests. Depending on your health insurance it may be possible to be reimbursed for these costs. Please check with your insurance carrier.
Supplements
Nutritional supplements are often an important part of your health and healing. We carry many of the highest quality nutritional supplements available. Know that your physician has taken a significant amount of time to research and find the best products for your specific health concern. Out of convenience and assurance of quality, you may choose to purchase your nutritional supplements from us, but you are not required to.
Family Wellness
We offer $50 credit toward a new patient consultation for subsequent immediate family members.
